OOTD: French Connection Snow Leopard Skirt

French Connection Leopard Skirt 1 110

Looking at these pictures, I’m pretty sure I look like I’m trying to do a 60′s look. Which I’m not (on purpose). I rage bought this skirt from French Connection (see pay day splurging) and styled it with this black t-shirt, black loafers and dubious bee-hive that I’ve been trying out this week.

I think the coolest thing about it is it matches my new specs!

Where the Wild Things are: M&S Pink Coat

So, this is the IT Coat this season. I actually tried on the ‘barely’ pink version of this and I look rubbish in it, but I live in hope of finding a flattering version as I am a big fan of rose pink. I decided to style it with a bit of humour as I think it edges towards looking a bit too prim and ladylike; in my opinion you either go full on masculine with chunky boots and a statement jumper, or you liven it up with more colour blocking accessories.

I was tempted to buy the ring version of this Kenzo lion necklace, but having short stubby fingers didn’t think I could carry it off. Besides, it was just around the time that Cara D unveiled her lion tat, so I figured it was pretty much a fad. I do love the geometric design though and would definitely wear this if I could afford it.

The Lulu Guinness clutch is very cute, and the Charlotte Olympia shoes are a great colour green. Teamed with black – leather and a crop jumper from Topshop, I Think you can just about get away with how zany this is!

OOTD: Silver Zips & Black Leather

Biker Style Black Silver 112

Zip Dress – H&M
Leather Biker – Whistles
Loafers – Clarks
Bag – F&F at Tesco (currently unavailable)
Necklace – Warehouse (last season)

This zip dress was a bit of a bargain from H&M – £15. It’s kind of thin but I like the shape. Worn with my Whistles biker it does edge towards looking a bit matchy but never mind!

I’ve been wearing it a lot lately to meetings and also lazing at the weekend with a big cardi (and running around doing a treasure hunt around London with work!) so it’s pretty multi-functional. I like nothing more than a dress I can wear anywhere and with anything!

Clarks Hotel Chic 115

I knew these shoes were something when I saw them in Grazia right in the middle of summer. I snapped them up from Amazon, but have only recently started to wear them. They are so bloody good quality it’s amazing! You’d definitely never know they were Clarks. I’ve been lusting after a pair of gold-tipped Monks from Russell & Bromley recently, but when they are £195 I just can’t justify it when these babies were around £60.

Headshot Biker Style Black Silver 113

New hair style (ish). I’ve started trying to do a mini beehive type thing (bit late I know!) and I am surprised at the comments I got!

What do you think? I really want to sort my hair cut out but I have no idea what to do with it. Fringe, no fringe? Long, short?
Help a lady out.
